Displaying Facebook Pages With the Embedded Pages Widget

It is possible to use the Embedded Pages widget from Staffbase to display Facebook Pages in your Staffbase Intranet. As Facebook Pages are not supported on mobile, we recommend to deactivate the Embedded Pages widget visibility for mobile devices.

Prerequisites:

• You have generated an iFrame URL for the Facebook Page you want to embed.

1. In the Studio, navigate to the page to which you want to add your Facebook Page and place the mouse where you want to place it in the text box.

2. Add the Embedded Pages widget.
    

   

   
   The dialog to configure the Embedded Pages widget opens.

3. Optionally, provide a title.

   The title will be displayed above the widget and be visible to your users.

4. Select on which types of devices the widget can be viewed by clicking on the corresponding icon.

   Staffbase recommends deselecting the mobile device as Facebook Pages are not supported on mobile.

   
5. Select for which users the widget will be displayed under Visibility in the app.
6. Under Target URL, paste the iFrame URL of the Facebook Page you want to embed.
7. Optionally, customize the height of the widget for desktop and mobile devices.
8. Define if you want to enable:

•  
  • User interactions with the widget, such as zooming and clicking, by adjusting the toggle Enable Interactions.

  • Scrolling for the widget by adjusting the toggle Enable Scrolling.

    

      9. Click OK.
         The widget is added to the page.
     10. Click Save.

You have added your Facebook Page via the Embedded Pages widget to your Staffbase Intranet.
